Growing up as the oldest of 7 siblings.in an impoverished family, Donald McCreedy always wanted to be like his uncle, a gangster. His familyuncle's wasnice extremely impoverished growing upsuits and hiswatches father's avid drinking habits never helpedand the situation.respect Don's(mostly family barely scraped by, with his mother, him and manyout of hisfear) siblingshe takinggarned jobscaused around town, when that still wasn't enough they could rely on Don's uncleDon to pay for basic necessities.
Don's uncle, Hosea McCreedy, was a rich, shady and influential man that carried respect in the neighborhoods he "owned". Don never understood why his mother despised him despite the money he brought in for the family he otherwise shouldn't give a shit about. Don very quickly grew up seeingrever his uncle as an amazing man, and a bettergod fatheramongst than his real dad could ever be.men.
Hosea'for him, Don's respectuncle, andHosea, attention wasn't earned freely, and at the age of 14 sent Don on his first "job", dealing marijuana behind their tenement. Don ateploited this point would do anything to get the attention of his uncle and accepted happily. The cut of money Don earned from this helped him make life easier at home, and it sent him spiraling into a life that would eventually consume his morality.
At 16, Donald dropped out of High School to work with his uncle full-time. Hosea had him move less-than-legal merchandise through warehouses and other jobs throughout the city. Despite his age, the other thugs knew not to mess with him unless they wanted to deal with his uncle's temper, a trait he quickly picked up on.
At 17, Hosea gave him his first gun, and a week later he took his first life. A mugger outside of his usual dealing spot jumped him, and in a quick series of events Don murdered him. Running away from the scene of the crime, he sprinted back to his uncle in shambles. Arriving at his uncle's feet, crying, he told him what had happened, and Hosea told him to grow up and to "not be such a pussy". Donald McCreedy took those words to heart.
Throughout his adult life Don took many jobsfanaticism for his agingown uncle.personal Fromgain. For most of Don's life he worked for his uncle, dealing in all manners of shady things such as armedfrom extortion to beingarmed arobbery. bouncerDon at one ofthrew his uncle'slife nightclubs,away hefor didhis whatever he was told to do. His personal relationships didn't matteruncle as he shut out old friends and flung himselfwent from one girlfriendfling to thefling next. The closest thingas he hadcarried out his eventual path of self destruction.
Eventually, his life caught up to "family"him, atand thatin point2018 beingafter a failed extortion of a restaurant in Virginia, Donald McCreedy ran over Ryan Vanderburgh while trying to flee and was taken into police custody.
Don was given life with no chance of parole, and sent to Arlington Correctional Facility. He spent his uncle.
consuming books and getting into fights as he caught up on the things he missed out on in the outside world. He would spend only two years of his sentence, becoming fast friends with his morally dubious cellmate Max Miller. In May of 2021, as Donald laid in his bunk, dreaming of tomorrow's Tuna Casserole, he couldn't possibly imagine the horrors and the ghosts of his past he would soon have to endure.
