Walter Katzenfisch born 1973 in Germany was a former ship captain for REDACTED.

His crew was part of one of the freighters bringing shipments to the island. He is very well-known for his methodical and professional attitude. Running a very tight ship, no quarrels or slacking would be allowed. Walter is the father of 2 children, however divorced due to a falling out about the secretive nature of his work which resulted in neglecting his parental duties. Shipments would often take several weeks with only a week of shore leave when back on the mainland.
After an accident during one of the shipments, his boat and crew crashed at the coast. Most of the crew was killed, the few survivors took refuge on the island.
