Cycle 4

The machine in A3 is quite literally nightmare fuel. I went down there earlier, and removed one of the canisters linked to the device. I wish I hadn't.

My past self couldn't understand why it was marked with biological symbols. Now I know. The canister was filled with human brains.

More accurately, it was filled with human brain matter, suspended in some sort of fluid that smelled sweet, my guess would be to feed and oxygenate the cells, but I'm not a biologist.

I still don't understand why, and I'm not sure I even want to know. There's more of those harmonic structures in the device, only thing I can guess is that it's somehow harnessing and focussing the field to create something.
